Now Accepting Nominations for the 2025-2027 Board of Directors

The WNS nominating committee is now accepting nominations for members to serve on the board of directors for the upcoming term 2025-2027. All applicants must be active WNS members in good standing for more than (1) year. If you or someone you know is interested in a serving in a leadership position and helping to grow our society, please submit your nomination.

The slate of candidates will be presented and voted on at the Annual Membership Meeting during the WNS Annual Conference on Saturday, October 4, 2025 in Madison, WI.  Terms will being immediately following the meeting and conclude at the Annual Meeting in 2027 (2 year term).

*Special Note: with the departure of 2023-25 President-Elect they will be unable to fulfil their assumed role of 2025-27 President.  The WNS Board of Directors has voted and approved Dr. Timothy Young to serve an additional term as president to allow the WNS membership to elect a President-Elect and allow that person to serve a two year term as President-elect before serving as President beginning in 2027.

The WNS Board meets 2-3 times per year and provides strategic oversight and support as the society works to advance it's mission. Board members are expected to participate in all Board meetings, assist in planning and attend the Annual Conference held in October and to volunteer for other activities that will help advance the society forward.
